Sydney Fringe Festival's Feast Hits Hurstville

A taste of the Sydney Fringe Festival is coming to Georges River in September with two incredible events.

Hurstville Entertainment Centre is set for a sumptuous FEAST of comedy and food starring comedian Jennifer Wong, presenter of ABC's Chopsticks or Fork?, while Hurstville Plaza will come alive once again with live music and dancing in a celebration of our community's unique flavours and creativity with the return of Fringeville.

Georges River Council Mayor Nick Katris, "It's going to be a Fringe takeover like no other with FEAST and Fringeville in Hurstville as part of the annual independent arts festival.

"You'll have the chance to experience vibrant community performances, take part in a drumming circle and enjoy local cuisine."

FEAST

Join Chinese-Australian writer, comedian, and food enthusiast Jennifer Wong as she plays host, guiding the audience through a family-style feast. Expect a sumptuous night of storytelling, laughter and Filipino cuisine with six of Sydney's funniest food loving comedians, writers and a chef.

FRINGEVILLE

It's a Fringe takeover! For one night only, Hurstville Plaza will come alive with live music, dancing and celebrating the flavours and creativity of south Sydney.
