The Albanese Labor Government is providing almost $64,000 in additional funding to bolster vital Emergency Relief support for Sydney's Jewish House, making sure Jewish Australians can access support when they need it.
Following an increase in demand for their services, this funding boost will ensure Jewish House can meet demand for emergency relief assistance and continue to support Jewish residents in Sydney's Eastern suburbs in the aftermath of the Bondi terrorist attack.
Jewish House has supported vulnerable Australians with supports such as food, rental assistance and school apparel for over 40 years and has played a vital role in helping those impacted by last December's terrorist attack navigate unimaginable loss and hardship.
This funding builds on existing funding Jewish House receives under the Albanese Government's Financial Wellbeing and Capability Activity, which provides food relief and financial wellbeing funding to help Aussies navigate tough times.
