Sydney student from same school as killer charged with six offences

A teenage boy has been charged following an incident in Parramatta this morning, NSW police said.

Shortly after 8.30am Tuesday, police spoke with a teenage boy in relation to alleged posts on social media.

During the interaction, police allege the teenager threatened and intimidated police.

The 17-year-old boy was arrested and was taken to Parramatta Police Station.

The teen was charged with six offences;

- Assault police;

- Intimidate police;

- Resist arrest (x2); and,

- Use carriage service to menace/harass/offend (x2).

The boy has been given strict conditional bail and is expected to appear at a children’s court on 9 November 2015.

Inquiries are continuing.
