Qudos Bank Arena today announced it sold its 15 millionth ticket at the weekend's Linkin Park concert, marking a major milestone for the Sydney venue since opening in 1999.
Originally built as the Sydney SuperDome, the arena has spent more than two decades hosting some of the world's biggest names in music, sport and entertainment. Voted Top-5 Live Music Venue in the world for 2025 by Billboard magazine, the venue continues to set box office records.
Sydney engineering student Jarrod Garwood, 20, struck gold when he bought a ticket to Linkin Park's sold-out show in Sydney, landing a money-can't-buy experience.

From the beginning, Qudos Bank Arena has held a special place in the sporting, entertainment and cultural hearts of Australians.
Qudos Bank Arena, owned by TEG and proudly operated by Legends Global, working alongside its partners to bring fans live entertainment experiences to Sydney.
In November 1999, the venue officially opened with a special performance by Luciano Pavarotti. The arena also played a central role hosting basketball, gymnastics and trampolining, during the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
Most recently, the arena delivered a record-breaking $14.4 million box office for UFC 325, underscoring its continued role in staging major live sport and entertainment events in Australia.
In music, Qudos Bank Arena has hosted many of the world's biggest artists across multiple genres and generations. Highlights include:
● P!NK – 147,970 tickets sold across nine shows on her Beautiful Trauma World Tour
● Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour set a new single-event attendance record of 21,001 patrons, previously held by Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveShow Tour
● RÜFÜS DU SOL – 48,865 tickets sold across three shows in November 2025, setting a new benchmark for an electronic music act at the venue
● TWICE – 29,572 tickets sold over two shows for their This Is For World Tour, establishing a new record for the highest ticket sales by a K-Pop artist at the arena.
● Katy Perry – returned to the Arena in 2025 for three blockbuster shows, reinforcing the venue's status as a destination for global touring acts.
