SydWest Multicultural Services is pleased to appoint Thom Calma as Head of Impact & Growth, further strengthening the organisation's capability and focus on measurement and outcomes. Thom joined SydWest in 2023 as the Executive Manager, Disability Supports, following a merger with Participate Australia. With over 15 years in the community services sector, Thom brings experience in service delivery, organisational transformation, governance, and strategy.

Thom's transition into this newly created role follows the recent appointment of JouJou Faulkner as Chief Services Officer, marking a continued strategic investment in experienced leadership to support SydWest's client experience, stakeholder relationships, and community impact.

In his new role, Thom will lead SydWest's impact journey, including the development of a theory of change and a comprehensive impact‑measurement framework. He will also play a vital role in shaping strategic partnerships, contributing to SydWest's growth strategy, and ensuring that SydWest programs continue to deliver measurable outcomes for multicultural communities, disability participants, seniors, youth, women, and children.

These leadership appointments reflect SydWest's commitment to strengthening governance, accountability, partnerships and impact measurement, with JouJou Faulkner leading service excellence, client and participant experience and operational brilliance as Chief Services Officer.
