We had officers and Councillors attending the meeting today, including the Mayor Cr Samantha McIntosh, Deputy Mayor Cr Jim Rinaldi, Cr Grant Tillett and Cr Daniel Moloney.
It was a very broad but constructive session and Ballarat MPs Juliana Addison, Michaela Settle and Special Advisor to the Tourism Minister Mary Ann Thomas should be congratulated for their well-thought out approach to this meeting.
Key take outs are that there is a willingness to work together and more broadly across the region, that we need clarity in our marketing approach, we need to reduce duplication, increase collaboration and have Visit Victoria decentralised outside of Melbourne.
