Talent Needed For Create And Sustain Youth Fest

Young people of Corangamite Shire will demonstrate their creativity and their commitment to sustainability at the Theatre Royal on Sunday 21 September.

Corangamite Create and Sustain Youth Fest will includes musical performances, an art exhibition, clothing swap, Young Makers Market and sustainable activities.

Mayor Kate Makin called on young Shire residents to get involved.

"We are looking for performers, whether you're a solo musician, in a band, a dancers, or stand-up comedian, or have any other talent.

"We're also calling on artists to submit works for an exhibition. w

"Council staff are organising artworks with schools, but if you're not at school and would like to exhibit, we don't want you to miss out on this opportunity.

"Young people interested in having market stalls at the event, including anyone interested in having a clothing swap stall - go to corangamite.vic.gov.au/youthfest and tell us what you've got to contribute to a fun and exciting day.

"It will be great to see everyone at the Theatre Royal from 1-3 pm on Sunday 21 September."
