These agreements will deliver for a significant number of state service employees, including Pharmacists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Radiation Oncology Medical Physicists, Fire crew, Dental Officers, Engineers, Food and Beverage, Tour Guides, Radio Dispatch Operators, Legal Practitioners, Teacher Assistants, Field Officer/Ranger, Operational Health Officers (Ward Aides, Orderlies and other operational hospital workers), Patient Transfer officers at Ambulance Tasmania (NEPT Officers), Administrative employees (general stream), ICT, Service Tasmania employees and Radiation Therapists.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff said the Tasmanian Government had negotiated in good faith over a significant period.

"We are pleased to deliver a fair and affordable pay rise, as well as updated conditions, for workers covered by the accepted agreements," Premier Rockliff said.

"The fair and affordable pay rise delivered over the next three years will be 3 per cent in year one, 3 per cent in year two and 2.5 per cent in year three, as well as structural adjustments where applicable.

"The State Growth Engineers Industrial Agreement (three years) will be out for a vote shortly, and the Australian Education Union has committed to putting the Teachers Agreement out to a vote tomorrow."

The supported agreements will now be finalised and lodged with the Tasmanian Industrial Commission.

Salary increases and backpay will be scheduled once the new agreements are registered.

"While we are disappointed the Ambulance Tasmania Industrial Agreement was rejected, we will continue our good faith negotiations," Premier Rockliff said.
