Teen has speeding car impounded in Seymour

Pyalong Police allegedly detected a driver travelling at 139km/h in a 60km/h zone in Seymour yesterday (8 August).

Police noticed the blue Ford utility on Emily street about 8.10pm.

The vehicle was intercepted and a 19-year-old Northwood man was arrested for reckless conduct endangering life and numerous other traffic offences.

He was charged on summons and will attend Seymour Magistrates' Court at a later date.

The vehicle was also impounded for 30 day at a cost of $1445 to the driver.
