Teen in critical condition after being struck by boat - Kyeemagh

A boy is in a critical condition after being struck by a boat in Sydney's south.

About 11.45am (Saturday 30 March 2019), emergency services were called to a boat ramp at Kyeemagh after a 15-year-old-boy, who had been water skiing behind a boat, was struck by another boat whilst he was in the water.

He sustained serious head injuries and has been taken St George Hospital by ambulance, where he is understood to be in a critical condition.

Police are conducting inquiries and speaking to witnesses.

The drivers and the observers of both boats have been taken to St George Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.

Inquiries continue.
