Teen robbed and assaulted in St Albans

Brimbank Divisional Response Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a teenage girl was robbed and assaulted in St Albans earlier this month, Victoria Police say.

Police have been told a 14-year-old girl was with her friend lying on the ground at a reserve on Main Road East about 5pm on Friday 14 September.

It is believed the girls were approached by three unknown girls who stole the victim’s phone before the other two girls assaulted her.

The offenders then ran from the scene towards the St Albans Community Centre.

The female offenders are all perceived to be African in appearance and aged 16 to 17-years-old.

They were all wearing active wear.

Investigators have released images of three girls who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
