Teenage boy dies after single-vehicle crash, NSW

A teenage boy has died following a single-vehicle crash on a rural property near Yerong Creek today, NSW Police say.

Police were told a Toyota Hilux utility containing three teenage boys were on the property, about 10.45am (Thursday 11 October 2018) when it rolled.

Two teenage boys were ejected from the vehicle. One of the boys, died at the scene.

The driver, and the rear passenger, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Wagga Rural Referral Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from the Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Inquiries into the cause of the crash are ongoing with examination of the scene expected to continue for some hours.
