Teenage girl missing from Ermington

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenager missing in Sydney's west.

Sairan 'Rahni' Chafei, aged 17, was last seen leaving a home on Ashcroft Street, Ermington, about 8am on Saturday (15 October 2022).

She was reported missing to officers from Cumberland Police Area Command when she failed to return home.

An investigation has commenced into her whereabouts, and police and family hold concern for her welfare due to living with medical conditions and an intellectual disability.

Rahni is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build with dark coloured hair that has red and purple highlights.

She is known to frequent shopping centres including Burwood, Parramatta, Mt Druitt, Blacktown and Penrith, and utilises the public transport network.
