Police have commenced an investigation after a teenage girl was stabbed in Sydney's west.
About 2.30pm today (Friday 4 September 2026), emergency services responded to reports of a brawl outside a school on Lancaster Street, Blacktown.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 17-year-old girl for multiple stab wounds before she was taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command have been informed that about half a dozen people were involved in the incident.
After being stabbed the girl entered the school grounds to seek assistance.
The girl is not believed to be affiliated with the school.
All other persons fled the scene prior to the arrival of emergency services.
Officers have also been told that a car possibly linked to the brawl was last seen driving north along Lancaster Street.
A crime scene has been established.
No further details are available at this stage.
