Teenager Charged After Stabbing - Hornsby

A teenage boy will face court charged following an alleged stabbing in Sydney's north-west earlier this month.

Just after 4.30pm on Sunday 12 October 2025, emergency services were called to Hornsby Railway Station following reports of a stabbing.

Officers attached to Kuring Gai Police Area Command attended and found a teenage boy with a wound to his chest.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

A group of four people allegedly left the area on foot before officers arrived.

A crime scene was established, and police commenced an investigation into the incident.

Following inquiries, about 7am yesterday (Tuesday 21 October 2025), a 13-year-old boy was arrested at an address in Long Jetty.

He was taken to Wyong Police Station and charged with reckless wounding and use knife in public place-cause person to fear for safety.

The boy was granted conditional bail to appear at a children's court on Tuesday 11 November 2025.
