Teenager charged over Casey crime spree

Casey Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a Narre Warren South teenager with a number of offences allegedly committed over the past two weeks, Victoria Police say.

The 14-year-old boy was arrested at a Narre Warren South address earlier this morning.

He has been charged with five counts of theft of motor car, evade police, conduct endangering life, robbery, assault, affray, speed dangerous, manner dangerous, careless driving and fail to remain at scene of accident.

Investigators will allege that the offending, except for the robbery which took place in July, occurred over the past two weeks in the Casey area.

The boy is expected to appear at a children’s court later today.
