Teenager critical after single vehicle crash in Roxburgh Park

Fawkner Highway Patrol are

investigating a single vehicle crash that has left a teenage boy in a critical

condition.

A Holden Commodore station wagon

with six occupants was travelling along Roxburgh Park Drive just after 6.30pm

on Wednesday 8 December.

It's believed the driver lost

control near McKenzie Crescent, mounted the curb, and struck a tree.

A 15-year-old Coolaroo boy,

believed to be the driver, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical

condition.

All five male passengers aged 14

and 15-years-old were treated for non- life-threatening injuries.

The exact cause of the crash is

being investigated and police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the

incident or has dash cam footage.
