A Wyndham Vale teenager who was assisting police with their enquiries following the death of another teenager in Werribee last night has been released from custody.
The 15-year-old boy has been released without charge pending further enquiries.
Homicide Squad detectives continue to investigate the incident which occurred at a sporting complex on Ballan Road on Friday 7 May about 5.50pm.
Emergency services were called to the address following reports a male had been injured.
The injured teen, a 17-year-old Wyndham Vale boy, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries where he later died.
