Trio Arrested Over Salisbury Stabbing

Three people were arrested following a stabbing incident at Salisbury last night.

Police were called to a licensed premises on Park Terrace about 9.15pm on Saturday 19 September following reports a man had been stabbed.

When police arrived, they located a 37-year-old man with stab wounds to his chest. He was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Northern District police subsequently attended a home at Elizabeth East and arrested three suspects.

Police have charged two men aged 33 and 22, along with a 35-year-old woman, with aggravated intentionally causing serious harm.

Their bail has been refused, and they will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday.

The incident is not considered random and the parties involved were known to each other.
