Police have charged five teenagers following a stolen car investigation.
It is alleged overnight on 18 July a black Mazda was stolen from a Kentwood Drive address in Bray Park.
Shortly before 11pm on 19 July, officers from Boondall Tactical Crime Squad intercepted the vehicle on Station Street in Morayfield.
It will be alleged the group attempted to flee on foot but were quickly apprehended and arrested without further incident.
A 14-year-old Burpengary boy has been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle (UUMV) and driving of a motor vehicle without a driver licence.
He is expected to appear before Caboolture Childrens Court today, 21 July.
A 13-year-old Rothwell girl and 13-year-old Burpengary girl have been charged with one count of UUMV.
A 14-year-old Griffin boy has been charged with one count each of UUMV, fraud – dishonestly making off without payment (fuel), and possessing dangerous drugs (Cannabis).
A 15-year-old Caboolture boy has been charged with one count each of UUMV and obstruct police officer.
The 13-year-old Rothwell girl, 13-year-old Burpengary girl, 14-year-old Griffin boy and 15-year-old Caboolture boy are expected to appear before Caboolture Childrens Court on 23 July.
