Teens Injured After Motorbike Crash - Central Coast

Two teenage boys have been seriously injured following a crash on the Central Coast this afternoon.

About 1.50pm (Thursday 19 February 2026), emergency services were called to Eastern Road, Bateau Bay, following reports of a crash.

At the scene, police were told that two boys were riding a motorbike that collided with two vehicles, throwing the boys from the bike.

The teenage boys - aged 15 and 17 - were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for serious injuries.

The younger boy, believed to be the passenger of the bike, was airlifted to the John Hunter hospital in a critical condition.

The older boy, believed to be the rider, was airlifted to the Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.

The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured; however, were taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation is underway by Tuggerah Lakes Police District.

The investigation will be assisted by the Crash Investigation Unit.
