Temporary traffic change for Ross Lane, Lennox Head

Ballina Shire Council wishes to advise that Ross Lane in Lennox Head will be reduced to one lane from Monday 27 November for approximately two weeks.

During this time a section of Ross Lane, near Newrybar Swamp Road, will be reduced to one lane with traffic control to enable alternating stop and go travel in each direction. This will be in place on weekdays, 9am – 3pm.

The speed limit will be reduced to 40km/h through the work zone. Motorists are advised to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.

This temporary traffic change is required for preliminary assessments to be carried out as part of the Ross Lane upgrade.

Council has received Australian and NSW Government funding through the Regional Roads and Transport Recovery Package for this project.

Council thanks the community for their patience and understanding during this time.
