As part of the Finocchiaro CLP Government's year of growth, certainty and security, a Northern Territory Government and business delegation is heading to Energy Exchange Australia (EXA) this week. This will promote the Territory's service and supply capabilities and unlock new investment opportunities, with a strong focus on rebuilding the economy and strengthening industry partnerships.

EXA brings together major operators, tier 1 service providers, industry specialists and government leaders to share knowledge, build relationships and progress investment opportunities across the energy sector.

Minister for Trade, Business and Asian Relations Robyn Cahill said, "The Northern Territory has had a strong presence at EXA for the past 16 years. It is a pivotal supply chain event that has helped harness strong relationships between business, industry and government across the energy sector."

With a highly skilled workforce, strong service and supply sector and abundant resources, the Territory is well positioned to support major onshore and offshore gas development. The Beetaloo Sub‑basin remains a globally significant natural gas resource that presents a transformational opportunity for local industry and the broader economy.

EXA provides a valuable platform for Territory businesses to raise their visibility, showcase capability and connect with key decision makers across the energy sector.

The Territory's delegation includes 15 businesses, three industry bodies and gas operator INPEX, representing advanced manufacturing, aviation, engineering, logistics, mechanical and electrical services, and environmental services. The Northern Territory Government will also facilitate industry briefings and networking events throughout EXA.

EXA runs from 10-12 March 2026 in Perth.
