- The Stone Roses played the first of their huge run of massive homecoming shows at Manchester's Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, 15 June, 2016, Gigwise said.
After playing an intimate but epic hit-packed comeback show in Halifax last week, the Manchester heroes took to the stage in their hometown - after being supported by Blossoms, Chronixx and Public Enemy.
They played a 20 song-strong set, taking in the classic singles and fan favourites from their first two records, as well as drawing on their new album by playing 'All For One'. 'Beautiful Thing' surprisingly, was not played, Gigwise said.
