Theft from construction site carpark in Wantirna South

Police are appealing for public assistance following a theft in Wantirna South last month.

It is understood two men arrived at a construction site carpark in Wantirna South, about 12.50am on 15 April.

Police believe the two unknown males arrived at the site in a grey ute with stolen registration plates, believed to be YAP906.

It is believed the two males then forced entry to a temporary storage room, stealing numerous power tools estimated to be worth $10,000.

Investigators have released images of two men they believe can assist with their enquiries.

The first man is described as being approximately 20-years-old and perceived to be Caucasian in appearance.

He was wearing a black Nike hoodie with an orange logo, black pants, and black shoes with an orange logo.

The second man is described as being approximately 30-years-old and perceived to be Caucasian in appearance.

He was wearing a dark navy-blue hoodie, black pants, and black runners.
