Third Arrest in Mt Druitt Stabbing: Strike Force Leeman

A third man has been charged over an alleged stabbing in Sydney's west last month.

On Tuesday 24 June 2025, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command established Strike Force Leeman to investigate an alleged stabbing at a shopping centre on Carlisle Avenue, Mount Druitt.

A 17-year-old boy and a 22-year-old man had suffered stab wounds during an alleged affray before they were taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Police have charged two men – aged 18 and 20 – since they commenced an investigation into the incident. They remain before the courts.

Following further inquiries, about 10.30pm last night (Friday 4 July 2025), police arrested an 18-year-old man at a house on Gordonia Grove, Baulkham Hills.

He was taken to The Hills Police Station, where he was charged with wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and robbery in company.

The 18-year-old man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Saturday 5 July 2025).

The investigation under Strike Force Leeman continues.
