Third man charged after Princes Freeway pursuit

Geelong Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following a pursuit involving a stolen Nissan Utility on the Princes Highway at Lara on Monday.

The utility was allegedly stolen from a Western Freeway service station about 5.20am on Monday 16 September.

The 25-year-old Warrnambool man was charged last night with 32 offences including theft of motor car and a number of traffic offences.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at the Geelong Magistrates' Court later this morning.

A 30-year-old Dandenong woman and a 23-year-old Mount Pleasant woman were also charged with theft of motor vehicle, possess a drug of dependence, and weapons offences.

They were bailed to appear at Geelong Magistrates' court on 20 January.
