Third Man Charged in Casula Shooting

Criminal Groups Squad detectives charge another man for his alleged role in an attack on a Casula home last year, where more than 50 rounds were fired from a semi-automatic weapon.

About 2.20am on Saturday 15 November 2025, officers attached to Liverpool Police Area Command responded to reports that shots had been fired into a home on MacKellar Street in Casula.

On arrival, police found that over 50 rounds had been fired into the home in what is currently being treated as a targeted attack.

No persons were home at the time, nor were there any reports of any person being injured.

Local police established a crime scene, and the matter was referred to State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad under Strike Force Cornville.

Investigations have established that at least two men allegedly travelled to the Casula address in a stolen black Audi S5 sedan bearing cloned plates.

The passenger exited the vehicle and allegedly fired at least 52 rounds at the home using a semi-automatic weapon, before leaving a threatening note at the address on a piece of cardboard.

The men fled in the car, which was found abandoned at Claremont Circuit in Wattle Grove about 5.20pm on Tuesday 18 November 2025, before leaving in a second vehicle.

Two men – aged 19 and 20 – have since been charged and remain before the courts.

Following extensive inquiries, about 9.30am yesterday (Tuesday 10 March 2026) strike force detectives – with assistance of Raptor Squad – arrested a 25-year-old man in Bradbury.

He was taken to Campbelltown Police Station where he was charged with participate in a criminal, accessory after the fact to fire firearm at dwelling organised criminal activity,

The 25-year-old was refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Local Court today (Wednesday 11 March 2026).

Detectives will allege in court the man was the driver of the second vehicle.
