Three car crash and assault in Blacktown

Police are investigating a three vehicle crash and assault in Blacktown, NSW Police say.

About 2.15am tomorrow, a Toyota Hilux, and two other vehicles collided on Richmond Road, near the intersection with Davis Road, Blacktown.

After the crash, the driver of the Hilux, a man aged in his 40s, was allegedly assaulted.

He sustained facial injuries and was taken by Ambulance Paramedics to Blacktown Hospital in a stable condition.

Police attended and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash and subsequent assault.

No arrests have yet been made. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.

None of the vehicles involved in the crash were stolen.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
