Three car crash at Entrance North

Three cars have been involved in a serious collision on the Central Coast this morning.

About 9.20am (Monday 8 July 2019), emergency services were called to Wilfred Barrett Drive, near Terilbah Place, The Entrance North, following reports of a multi-vehicle crash.

Police have been told a Toyota Kluger travelling south and a Holden Commodore travelling north, collided in the north-bound lanes.

A Toyota Corolla, also travelling north, then collided with the rear of the Commodore.

The driver of the Toyota Kluger, a 35-year-old man, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the Holden Commodore, a 20-year-old man, suffered minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Gosford Hospital.

The 21-year-old female, in the Toyota Corolla, was uninjured and transported to Wyong Hospital and later discharged.

Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District and the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command attended and established a crime scene, which was examined by specialist forensic officers.
