Three men will face court today charged by Campbelltown City Detectives over the alleged conspiracy to shoot a man in Sydney's southwest earlier this month.
In November 2025, detectives attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command – with assistance from the Southwest Metropolitan region and the State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad and Raptor Squad – commenced inquiries to investigate several public place shootings across Sydney's southwest.
During this investigation, strike force detectives located and seized two kill cars – a Volkswagen Jetta and Suzuki Jimny both bearing stolen number plates – in Ingleburn and Minto.
A further search of a reserve nearby in Minto, resulted in the seized a pistol and a magazine.
Following inquiries, with assistance from Northwest Metropolitan Region and Southwest Metropolitan Region Operation Support Groups, search warrants were executed at homes in North St Marys, Greenacre and Emerton about 3pm yesterday (Wednesday 26 November 2025).
Two men – both aged 21 – and a 16-year-old boy, were arrested and taken to police stations across western Sydney.
A 16-year-old boy who was arrested at Greenacre, was taken to Bankstown Police Station, where he was charged with possess loaded firearm public place, discharge firearm intend cause grievous bodily harm and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
A 21-year-old man who was arrested at North St Marys, was taken to Mt Druitt Police Station, where he was charged with participate criminal group contribute criminal activity, possess ammunition without holding licence, possess prohibited drug, discharge firearm intend cause grievous bodily harm and possess prohibited drug.
A 21-year-old man who was arrested at Emerton, was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station, where he was charged with discharge firearm intend cause grievous bodily harm and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.
Police will allege in court the group were organising the shooting as part of an ongoing business feud.
All three were refused bail to appear before court today (Thursday 27 November 2025) with the two men appearing before Mount Druitt Local Court and the teenager appearing before a children's court.
