Three men have been injured following an explosion at a business in Sydney’s west today, NSW Police say.
Just before 10am (Saturday 15 December 2018), emergency services were called to a building on Victoria Street, Smithfield, after reports of an explosion.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated six people at the scene.
One man has been taken to Concord Hospital and two men to Royal North Shore Hospital, all in a stable condition.
Another three men were treated for smoke inhalation.
Fire & Rescue NSW attended.
Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command have established a crime scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
WorkSafe NSW have been notified.
