Three men hospitalised after assault in Sydney

Police are investigating after three men were hospitalised after being assaulted in Sydney’s CBD overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Park and Pitt streets just before 3.30am today, following reports of a brawl outside a fast food restaurant.

Officers from Sydney City Local Area Command attended and located three injured men, a 23-year-old and two aged 26.

Police have been told the three men were approached by up to eight men and were assaulted with glass bottles.

The two men, aged 26, suffered head lacerations. The three men were treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital. They have all since been released.

An investigation into the incident is underway.
