Three men stabbed at sporting ground - North Parramatta

Three men have been taken to hospital and an investigation is underway following a stabbing at a sporting ground in Sydney's north-west today.

Just after 11.20am (Sunday 9 August 2020), emergency services were called to Old Saleyards Reserve on Gladstone Street, North Parramatta, after reports of an assault.

Police have been told a physical altercation occurred at the conclusion of a rugby league match, where three men were stabbed.

Several men fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.

The injured men were treated by paramedics before being taken to Westmead Hospital, where two are reported to be in a serious condition.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
