The Tidy Towns team will be back in action next week and will be targeting the city's historic sites in upcoming clean efforts.
The Tidy Towns Working Group will have a clean-up event at the Picnic Train Ambush Site at 9am on September 24, with a free BBQ for participants to follow.
Future clean-up events will be staged at White Rocks, the Broken Hill Cemetery, and other significant sites.
Tidy Towns Working Group Chair, Councillor Dave Gallagher, encouraged locals to get involved to help beautify their town.
"The Tidy Towns volunteers are a wonderful and committed group, and new members are always welcome," he said.
"The weather is finally starting to warm up and these events will be a great way to enjoy some fresh air, get some exercise, meet new people, and help clean up important sites around our great city."
All cleaning equipment is provided however it is recommended that volunteers bring their own water bottles, gloves, and a hat.
The Picnic Train Ambush Site can be found by heading west on Morgan St to the outskirts of the city.
