Timbrell Park BMX track reopens

BMX enthusiasts across the City of Canada Bay can now enjoy the new and improved bike track at Timbrell Park in Five Dock.

"I'm pleased to announce this much-loved community recreation space has reopened for the public to enjoy," City of Canada Bay Mayor Angelo Tsirekas said.

The BMX track has reopened sporting new and reshaped jumps, trail restorations and safety improvements.

Mayor Tsirekas said the upgrades had improved the riding experience of users.

"The Timbrell Park BMX track attracts visitors from across the inner west. These improvements have made is a safer and more functional space.

"I encourage you to visit the space and take advantage of the many recreational opportunities we have in the City of Canada Bay."
