The long wait is finally over for Northern Territory cricket fans! International cricket makes its highly anticipated return to Darwin after 17 years this August.
Public general tickets are now officially on sale for the blockbuster Australia v South Africa T20 Internationals on 10 and 12 August, giving fans the opportunity to secure seats for these long-awaited matches.
This landmark event marks a significant moment for sport in the Top End, promising two electrifying Twenty20 International matches that will ignite the passion of local fans and attract visitors from across the nation and beyond.
The first-ever Men's T20 Internationals to be played in the Northern Territory will open a blockbuster Australian summer. Cricket Australia's recently announced 2025-26 International Schedule highlights cricket being played in 11 cities and 14 venues across every State and Territory, showcasing a true national footprint.
These highly anticipated fixtures in Darwin will be the first meeting between Australia and South Africa following their ICC World Test Championship Final match, which is currently underway at Lord's in England (11-15 June). The Darwin matches also form part of a Northern Australia Series that extends to Cairns and Mackay.
The two T20 International matches between Australia and South Africa will be played at Marrara Stadium:
