The Finocchiaro CLP Government has commended the outstanding talent within the Northern Territory's hospitality sector, which was celebrated last night at the 2025 Hospitality NT Awards for Excellence.
More than 500 industry leaders, nominees and guests gathered for the premier event on the Territory's hospitality calendar at the Darwin Ski Club, including Minister for Tourism and Hospitality Marie-Clare Boothby.
This year, 290 nominations were submitted across all categories, including more than 40 in the highly competitive Employee Awards.
Ms Boothby congratulated all the winners and nominees for their outstanding contributions to the Territory's hospitality industry and acknowledged their dedication to the growth and success of the sector.
"Our hospitality venues are more than just places to eat and drink, they are where locals connect, friends and families come together, and visitors fall in love with the Territory," said Ms Boothby.
"This year's winners reflect the strength of our regions, the passion of our people, and the innovation that continues to drive the industry forward.
"Territorians from all corners of the NT were recognised, including the new owner of the Walkabout Lodge in Nhulunbuy, Dundee Beach Tavern, Alice Springs Brewing Company, and long-time industry legends like Tony Innes of Noonamah Tavern, recently celebrating 20 years in the industry."
Hilton Darwin led the way, awarded the Best Overall Accommodation Hotel, Best Superior Accommodation, Best Redeveloped Accommodation Hotel, and Outstanding Community Service, while Hilton staff were also recognised for front-of-house service and training excellence.
Dundee Beach Tavern also dominated, winning Best Overall Regional Pub/Tavern, Best Draught Beer - Regional, and Best Public Bar Presentation.
The Cinema Collective on Mitchell Street in the Darwin CBD also made a strong impression, achieving Best New Venue, Best Overall Pub/Tavern, Best Pub Gaming Venue, and Best Late-Night Venue.
Palmerston Golf and Country Club also received multiple awards, including Best Overall Club and Best TAB Licensed Venue, a nod to the venue's major renovations and its upcoming hosting of the Territory's first internationally televised PGA golf event.
