In this video, we'll show you how to navigate our website and use search tools to find what you need.

To access warnings and alerts, click or tap the yellow triangle icon at the top right of your screen from any page. On the home page, you can also use the yellow bar that says current warnings. On a state, district or location page, you'll see any warnings for that area directly under the place name.

There are three main sections at the top of the page, Weather and climate, Government and industry, and Resources. Selecting one opens a menu for that section.

Breadcrumbs, a term used for a navigation trail, will help you know where you are on the site. When you click or tap Perth, for example, you can use the breadcrumbs above the page heading to see related pages like district and state forecasts and past observations. For a shortcut back to the homepage, use the home icon in the breadcrumbs. You can also click or tap our name at the top left of your screen.

To search, select the magnifying glass icon at the top right of your screen. You can search by location to find weather information. Type the location into the search field. It's important that you don't add the state or words like radar. Suggestions will appear. Select your location. You can also search by topic like latest weather observations or long range forecast. When searching by topic, select all results. You can filter by category or format, like video.
