Police are investigating the tragic death of a toddler after he was run over by the family car at Angle Vale earlier today.
Just after 11.30am on Saturday 29 June, police and ambulance crews were called to Whitelaws Court after reports a small boy was run over by the family car in the backyard of the home.
On arrival, ambulance crews made desperate attempts to resuscitate the 2-year-old boy who lived at the Angle Vale home, but sadly he died at the scene.
Major Crash Investigators are on scene investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
The inconsolable family have asked for privacy from the media at this time.
