Police remain at the scene of a serious crash where a person was struck by a train at Woodville.
The incident occurred about 5.50am on Monday 1 June near Hughes Street.
The boom gates at the level crossing on Woodville Road remained down and traffic was blocked while police investigated. Woodville Road reopened just after 8.30am.
Restrictions remain on train services and trains are currently not running on the Outer Harbour, Grange and Port Dock lines due to the incident.
