The Tree Management tender is the second to be released under our newly reshaped maintenance services delivery model that intends to see effective and efficient management of $2.3 billion worth of community assets.
The successful tenderer will be responsible for the maintenance of Shire managed trees as well as other services including initial storm response, tree planting and after hours call out. The Tree Management tender has been designed with a focus on agility and responsiveness.
Further tenders for Open Space and Bushland Management will be advertised in early 2023. Buildings and facilities maintenance services are to be delivered through a series of direct service contracts, which are also planned for tender in 2023 along with a cleaning services contract.
Council's Road Corridor Maintenance tender opened in late October and closes at 2pm, Tuesday 14 February 2023.
The Shire's maintenance services will be further supported by supplier panels, which will also be tendered in 2023.
