The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has completed an interim review (RD-2025-001) of its order made on March 25, 2021, in expiry review RR-2020-001, in respect of photovoltaic modules and laminates originating in or exported from China.
The Tribunal amended its order to exclude the following goods: flexible photovoltaic modules that will be affixed to curved surfaces of vehicles, such as transport truck fairings, with a power output not exceeding 200 W.
The Tribunal is an independent quasi-judicial body that reports to Parliament through the Minister of Finance. It hears cases on dumped and subsidized imports, safeguard complaints, complaints about federal government procurement and appeals of customs and excise tax rulings. When requested by the federal government, the Tribunal also provides advice on other economic, trade and tariff matters.
