Police have arrested three men after weapons were seized in Ardeer earlier tonight.
Officers responded to reports of three males spotted allegedly in possession of a machete and a baseball bat knocking on the door of a Chesley Street property about 5pm.
The three men were allegedly seen a short time later travelling nearby in a green Holden sedan.
Police pulled over the Holden and it is alleged the vehicles occupants matched the description of the trio spotted earlier.
The three males were arrested without incident.
Officers searched the vehicle and seized a firearm, baseball bat and machete.
A 19-year-old and two 18-year-olds, all from Truganina, will be interviewed by police.
The investigation remains ongoing.
