Three men have been arrested and firearms seized following an investigation into drug supply in the State's Central West.
Between March and July 2025, officers attached to Central West Police District commenced Strike Force Binnu to investigate the alleged supply of prohibited drugs in licensed premises around the Orange area.
Following extensive inquiries, about 6am yesterday (Wednesday 3 July 2025) police executed search warrants at four locations.
On Maddison Way, Orange, police arrested a 23-year-old man and seized a mobile phone.
At an address on Cullya Lane, Clergate, police arrested a 30-year-old man and seized cannabis, clothing and phones.
At a unit complex on Nile Street, Orange, police arrested a 24-year-old man and allegedly seized cocaine, MDMA and amphetamines.
A fourth search warrant was executed on Borenore Road, Borenore, where firearms and ammunition were seized.
They were all charged with multiple offences, including:
- Possess prohibited drug
- Supply prohibited drug
- Supply prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis
- Recklessly deal with proceeds of crime
- Participate criminal group, contribute criminal activity
The 23-year-old man was charged with 24 offences in total, including firearm-related offences.
The three men have all been refused bail to appear before Orange Local Court today (Thursday 4 July 2025).
