Monster Machinery Day returns to Broadwater Parklands on Sunday 31 May, giving people of all ages the chance to get up close to the machines that help build and maintain the Gold Coast.
Division 6 Councillor Brooke Patterson said the City's much-loved free event is back for its 22nd year, with more than 50 vehicles and interactive activities spanning a full kilometre.
"Monster Machinery Day is big, loud and free, and always a crowd favourite, with something for everyone," Cr Patterson said.
"Kids and their families can explore and get hands on with the equipment that digs, lifts, hauls and keeps our city moving.
"Free activities include live machinery demonstrations, rock climbing, the super slide, Hot Wheels display and a toddler favourite - the giant sandpit.
"Catch all the action in the Demo Zone, with the woodchipper, excavator and skid steer on show at the Southern Lawns."
To make it easier to get around, a free train will run along the event route.
Food trucks will be also available to keep little explorers fuelled.
