The second world war is one big memory that consists of many small human stories. Each of us has our own memories.
In 2020, we celebrated Victory Day May 9 differently than ever - in self-isolation mode.
This made it impossible to take photographs of people and report from events, catch other people's emotions, or write from nature.
It was difficult to accept.
But restrictions are also new opportunities. That is why the Memorable Things project told its story of the war in photos, illustrations, and collages differently than ever before.
The basic art form of the project was a thematic still life, including such variants as flatlay or still-life in the knolling technique. Each work was supplemented with a short story revealing the details of the story chosen by the author.
Photographers, designers, illustrators, and artists, both professionals and amateurs, took part in the project.
You can see the final works of the Memorable Things project on the fence in front of the university. The exhibition will run until the end of the summer.
