Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate Tuatai Tangata Poto.
A warrant has been issued for the 48-year-old's arrested in relation to assault related matters.
Tangata Poto is described as 165cm tall with a solid build, black hair and a tanned complexion.
He is known to frequent the Melbourne CBD and Clayton South areas.
Investigators have released an image of Tangata Poto in the hope someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
