As noted by the Minister for Tourism and Culture, Lauren Moss:
As part of the Territory Labor Governments record $103 million Turbocharging Tourism stimulus, we are investing in our events and festivals because we know they bring visitors to the Territory, money into the economy and create jobs.
With a brand new location and a huge line up to be announced in early 2019, BASSINTHEGRASS 2019 will be the biggest event in its 17-year history and the largest music festival ever held in the NT.
The expansion of BASSINTHEGRASS is fantastic for the local Darwin community who will not only see the tourism benefits from an expanded festival but also now have even more music and entertainment to experience themselves.
