Tweed/Byron Police appeal for help to find missing woman

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Queensland, who is now believed to be on the Far North Coast.

Kirily Jacobson, aged 38, was last seen at home on Flamingo Key, Broadbeach Waters in Queensland, about 5.30am on Thursday 29 December 2022.

When she could not be located, officers attached to Queensland Police Service were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Following inquiries, NSW Police Force officers attached to Tweed-Byron were advised that Kirily may be in the vicinity of Cabarita Beach.

About 12.50am this morning (Sunday 31 December 2022), police located a vehicle belonging to Kirily at Cabarita Headland.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Kirily is described as being of Caucasian appearance, with a heavy build, brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black singlet and black shorts.

A multi-agency search is currently underway, with assistance from NSW Police Rescue, Marine Area Command, Surf Lifesaving NSW with drone, and the State Emergency Service.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call Coffs-Clarence police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
